Funny Caricature pictures about the increasing prices in Egypt
It felt really strange knowing that my date of birth this year, 2008, would be one of those remarkable days in the history of the Egyptian citizens... The day of the Egyptian strike for the high prices of everything...
I even heard from "Usama George", a dear colleague of mine at work, that previous strikes happened before in earlier years... There was this one in the 80s and it "did" have an effect on the Egyptian authorities and prices went a bit lower after it... This time, in 2008, I don't think any change would really be sensed. Looks like the Egyptian government learnt how to steady us "well"... :s
